Introduction of North American Sales Agent (Five Star Hydraulics, Inc.)
In April and September 2001, Nambu signed a service and technology provision agreement with "Five Star Hydraulics, Inc." in Indiana, USA, for hydraulic cylinders for the mold-related industry and rotary cylinders and rotary joints for the steel industry in North America.

Cylinders for Molds
Regarding Nambu's main product, cylinders for molds, to respond to the production expansion of Japanese automobile manufacturers and related parts manufacturers, we stock standard seal parts and perform local overhauls as needed. We position this as a base for expanding sales of rotary cylinders and cylinders for molds.
Rotary Joints and Rotary Cylinders for Steel Plate Coiling
Five Star Hydraulics has an exclusive contract with U.S. Steel (including former Bethlehem Steel and former National Steel) for the repair and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders. Many Nambu rotary joints have been adopted by the above steel manufacturers and are operating smoothly.
A maintenance factory for Nambu rotary joints and cylinders has already been established within Five Star Hydraulics, and we are striving to respond quickly to customers locally for further sales expansion in the future.
Signing of Cooperation Enhancement
In September 2016, we signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation for further sales expansion of the rotary joint division for steel plate coiling in North America.
